Eric Stein is a born-and-raised Californian with particular passions for branding, marketing strategy, and disruptive entrepreneurship.

He moved to Oslo in 2016 to complete his MSc in Strategic Marketing Management as a Presidential Scholarship Recipient at BI Norwegian Business School. During his studies, he began working with thebrandproject* as a jr. advisor and “millennial mind.” As the organization has evolved into XY01, Eric has concentrated his professional efforts on venture and branding projects.

Prior to moving to Oslo, Eric received his B.A. in Economics with a Minor in Business from UC San Diego, and studying abroad at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Sciences Po, Paris. He independently pursued an education in UI/UX design and is a strong advocate of the design thinking methodology. Professionally, he has worked alongside businesses ranging from disruptively ambitious startups to industry-leading multinational organizations.

Eric’s work consistently reflects his multidisciplinary background in marketing, economics, and design, as well as his global and intercultural experiences.

Eric Stein er oppvokst i California og er lidenskapelig opptatt av merkevarebygging, markedsføring og entreprenørskap. 

Etter å ha mottatt et Presidential Scholarship fra Handelshøyskolen BI flyttet han til Oslo i 2016 for å ta en MSc i Strategic Marketing Management. Under studiene begynte han å jobbe med thebrandproject* som juniorkonsulent og «millenial mind». Nå som thebrandproject* har blitt til X.Y.0.1, har Eric primært jobbet med venture og merkevarebygging.

Før han flyttet til Oslo, fullførte Eric en B.A i Economics (LSE) og en Sciences Po i Paris. Han driver for øyeblikket med selvopplæring i UI/UX design og er en sterk tilhenger av design thinking. Han har jobbet med alt fra disruptive og ambisiøse startups til industri-ledende multinasjonale organisasjoner.

Eric’s arbeidserfaring er reflektert i hans multidisiplinære bakgrunn innen markedsføring, økonomi og design, samt hans globale og interkulturelle perspektiv på verden.
